We're entering the home stretch for the CIDC Bylaw revisions, a few ballot initiatives, and the Nov 7th elections.  Please also make sure that your friends know about the vote coming up for Cape Cod Tech RHS on October 24th.

We also have good news in the approval by the MA House and Senate of an additional $5.3 million in state funds (through the Mass. School Building Authority) for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School building project.  This additional contribution from the state will save Cape taxpayers nearly $10 million on this potential project when taking into account the interest that would accrue to the towns.  This increase is on top of the approximate $41 million the Mass. School Building Authority had already committed to the project. This success is the result of the collaboration of the Cape and Islands legislative delegation - the critical champion on this was Rep. Sept 26th - Mashpee - The Cape Cod Tech School in Harwich is having a session on the multi-town construction vote from 6-7pm. Officials plan to discuss the need for the new facility, which would replace the current 43-year-old school. The 15-town special election vote is October 24th.
